Desde un enfoquede las caracter\u00edsticas de consumo de las audiencias j\u00f3venes, esta investigaci\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 en la difusi\u00f3n de contenidos multimedia que cuatro medios migrantes y digitales, con cobertura nacional y local, hicieron en Facebook durante los tres primeros mesesde la crisis sanitaria. Por ello, el objetivo de la investigaci\u00f3n, fue conocer si los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n nacionales y locales, tanto nativos digitales como migrantes, construyeron sus contenidos pensando en la segunda generaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s joven del Ecuador,la Generaci\u00f3n Z, para informarla sobre la pandemia alrededor de la cual se generaron noticias falsas y contenidos creados deliberadamente para da\u00f1ar, confundir o causar temor. Se utiliz\u00f3 una metodolog\u00eda cuali\u2013cuantitativa que evidenci\u00f3 que los usuarios \u201cZ\u201d de los medios seleccionados ven a Facebook como una red de entretenimiento y medio de informaci\u00f3n. Pero, esto \u00faltimo no es aprovechado por la prensa digital, tanto nacional como local, que al limitar el lenguaje multimedia en sus contenidos no aporta a la profundizaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n sobre salud.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><h5 class=\"textLayer\">Palabras clave:<\/h5><div class=\"textLayer\">Ecuador, medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de masas, medios sociales, desinformaci\u00f3n, j\u00f3venes.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><h5 class=\"textLayer\">Abstract<\/h5><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"textLayer\">In pandemic, social networks have been one of the main digital environments for the search of information from Covid -19. From a focus on the consumption characteristics of young audiences, this research focused on the dissemination of multimedia content that four migrant and digital media, with national and local coverage, made on Facebook during the first three months of the health crisis. Therefore, the objective of the research, was to know if the national and local media, both digital natives and migrants, built their contents thinking about the second youngest generation in Ecuador, Generation Z, to inform them about the pandemic around which fake news and contents created deliberately to harm, confuse or cause fear were generated. A qualitative-quantitative methodology was used that showed that \u00abZ\u00bb users of the selected media see Facebook as an entertainment network and a means of information.
