Resumen<\/h5>

En Ecuador, la desinformaci\u00f3n digital tiene 10 a\u00f1os de historia. Tom\u00f3 fuerza cuando una oleada de noticias falsas se dio en las protestas de octubre de 2019 y creci\u00f3 en la crisis sanitaria actual, constituy\u00e9ndose en un virus para la democracia. Este art\u00edculo registra los resultados preliminares de una investigaci\u00f3n sobre desinformaci\u00f3n, opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica y pr\u00e1cticas period\u00edsticas que analiza los discursos sobre la pandemia que Estado, cient\u00edficos y medios construyeron durante los dos primeros meses del estado de excepci\u00f3n por la emergencia sanitaria; todo esto con acercamientos te\u00f3ricos del periodismo cient\u00edfico, periodismo de investigaci\u00f3n y el llamado \u201ctrastorno de la informaci\u00f3n\u201d. El discurso oficial se gener\u00f3 en cadenas nacionales y se teji\u00f3 con los otros discursos en Internet y Twitter donde se rastrearon representaciones no informativas de la Covid-19, que complejizaron su comprensi\u00f3n como pandemia nueva, en un escenario marcado por denuncias contra actores pol\u00edticos de fake news.<\/p>

Abstract<\/h5>

In Ecuador, digital disinformation has a 10\/year history. It gained strength when a wave of fake news occurred in the October 2019 protests and grew in the current health crisis, becoming a virus for democracy. This article records the preliminary results of an investigation on misinformation, public opinion and journalistic practices that analyzes the discourses on the pandemic that the State, scientists and the media constructed during the first two months of the state of emergency due to the health emergency; all this with theoretical approaches to science journalism, investigative journalism and the so-called \u00abinformation disorder.\u00bb The official speech was generated in national chains and was woven with the other speeches on the Internet and Twitter where non-informative representations of Covid-19 were tracked, which complicated its understanding as a new pandemic, in a stage marked by complaints against political authors of fake news.<\/p>
