Esta investigaci\u00f3n identifica las cuentas de Twitter de reconocidos cient\u00edficos ecuatorianos para hacer un an\u00e1lisis del discurso cient\u00edfico y contenido publicados, con el\u00a0prop\u00f3sito de divulgar ciencia en esta red social. Se identificaron las tem\u00e1ticas abordadas por cada usuario durante el periodo de abril a junio de 2020, primer trimestre\u00a0<\/span>de la crisis sanitaria en Ecuador provocada por la pandemia de COVID-19. Mediante\u00a0<\/span>un estudio cuantitativo se toman en cuenta variables correspondientes a la plata forma digital como el uso de\u00a0<\/span>hashtags, menciones y material audiovisual. El an\u00e1lisis\u00a0<\/span>de contenido clasifica las publicaciones de los cient\u00edficos con el fin de evaluar si estas cumplen con ejes esenciales de la divulgaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica como la verificaci\u00f3n, la exposici\u00f3n y la argumentaci\u00f3n de datos.<\/span><\/div>

Abstract<\/h5>
This research identifies the Twitter accounts of renowned Ecuadorian scientists\u00a0to make an analysis of scientific discourse and published content, with the purpose of sharing scientific information on this social network. It identifies the topics\u00a0<\/span>addressed by each user during the period from April to June 2020, the first quarter\u00a0<\/span>of the health crisis in Ecuador caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through a quantitative study, variables corresponding to the digital platform are taken into account,\u00a0<\/span>such as the use of hashtags, mentions, and audiovisual material. The content analysis classifies the publications of scientists in order to assess whether they comply with essential axes of scientific dissemination such as data verification, exposition, and argumentation.<\/span><\/div>
